At the End of the Date

At the end of the date there are a number of things that you need to do:

• When it comes to paying the bill at the end of the date, as the man you should take the bill and lay down your credit card swiftly so that a woman knows you are offering to pay the bill without any questions. Most woman will accept this however some will offer to pay half. You should just say no to this and say that you will pay for it, if they feel really strongly about it then allow them to do it or tell them to pay for something else like the taxi home for example.
• If you really have not enjoyed the date then do not let it to drag on. Just end the date by saying you have work to do or you have to be up early in the morning. Although this is not entirely the truth the other person will get the message and it should save any embarrassment.
• Offer to take your date home safely either by walking or by a taxi. Do not expect anything more than this.
• If you really like the person and had a nice time then just tell them that! Do not hold back but make sure you do not go over the top either in case you scare them off. Just say that you had a really good night and would like to see them again. If you can arrange the second date at this time then just do it. If you do not feel confident telling the person you had a good time to their face then give them a wee text when you get in saying it.
• If you feel that you may like the person more then they like you then just play it cool and keep everything fun and relaxed. By doing so they will go away and think about how much fun you were and probably arrange to see you again.
