After the First Date

After the first date you should think about phoning the other person if you really like them but you must remember a few things:

• You should not phone immediately after the date but you should not leave it for too long either. The best time to contact them would probably be 2 days after the date. This way you do not seem to desperate and at the same time do not seem ignorant.
• When you finally make the phone call make sure you know what you are going to say in your head otherwise you will get muddled up and the words will not come out right at all. When you are saying it smile because they will be able to tell this in your voice.
• Remember to keep the conversation short and sweet do not stay on the phone for hours on end. Remember that you have a busy and full lifestyle and they are lucky to be in it.
• Remember not to leave numerous messages on answering machines. If you leave one message then that is enough if you leave more than one message then you will come across desperate and needy and this will put the person off.
• Do not wait by your phone get on with your life and enjoy yourself. If they like you and are going to call then they will.
• Sometimes people take awhile to contact you and then make up excuses for this. Some of these are genuine but most of them are not because if someone really wanted to get in contact with you then they would even if they are away on business etc. So be wary of these people and if they do make poor excuses then just walk away and do not have anything to do with them.
• A good tip is when the person phones you or texts you wait awhile before you reply to them. let them leave a message and get back to them or wait a couple of hours before you reply to their text. This shows that you have a busy life and will make them think that they are lucky to get a reply. It also shows that you are not too keen even if you are.
